Inside the SCR House: Electrical Operations in Oil and Gas

A practical look into the day-to-day electrical responsibilities within the SCR House, highlighting system monitoring, troubleshooting, and teamwork required to maintain safe, reliable, and efficient rig operations.

Working in the oil and gas field has provided continuous exposure to technically demanding environments where precision and accountability are required on a daily basis. My role within the SCR House focuses on maintaining stable electrical operations and supporting overall rig performance.

Some of my main duties inside the SCR House include:

  • Monitoring and maintaining rig electrical systems to ensure continuous operation

  • Troubleshooting equipment to maintain safe and stable operations

  • Supporting rig moves and ensuring proper power distribution

  • Applying safety standards in every task

  • Collaborating with the team to resolve technical issues efficiently

Through these responsibilities, I have had the opportunity to:
